I ushered the Texas Motor Speedway souvenir race programs and media guides into digital-only offerings, planning, writing, and copy editing them.
As one of two official writers for Texas Motor Speedway, I have written and copy edited countless press releases and feature stories, distributing them to local, national, and even international media sources.
I spent two years spearheading Texas Motor Speedway’s award-winning elementary school reading program, Speeding to Read. In that time, we challenged nearly 14,000 North Texas K-5 Grade students to meet specific reading challenges in order to receive prizes, including race tickets. We also partnered up with North Texas non-profit Food for the Soul to deliver nearly 5,000 Christmas gifts to our students in 2019.
